things i love thursday

 i've been decorating for halloween.  i've also been combing the internets for ideas.  i stumbled upon using books as decor.. i love the look of these.  i may have to check out local thrift stores and the half priced book stores for some black and orange books and begin a collection.  i'm sure they will go wonderfully with my horror movies, all year long!

is it possible to have too many door mats?  i mean, there are 365 days a year and i suppose one could have a new one for every day?  this one is adorable!

i'm sure everyone remembers this post?  they match!  and my little babies are in my dining room so this set would feel completely at home with the others.  however, these may be just a tad too creepy to sit on my dining room table and watch us while we eat.

finally, i've been looking for a cast iron trivet for a couple days now, to sit underneath my owl wax burner.  there are so many wonderful ones to choose from on etsy and throughout all of my searches, i keep coming back to this one...

i've contacted the seller to question the measurements but providing this is large enough, this is perfect!  i know, i know, i could've gone with an owl.. but i want the focus of the burner to BE the burner, not the trivet.  this one is pretty, yet simple.
