It's not just your room...

Okay, as I promised random pictures of the mess that still remains from my mom moving out.

I will even post huge pictures.  This one is awesome because it includes my dogs playing poker picture.  My brother gave this to me years ago.  I've never had a place to hang it.  Of course, I could have taken down the picture of a young Jesus that has hung over our mantle.. but I felt like I'd go to hell.  NOW, it's found a forever home on my bedroom wall.  Also in this picture is a desk.  It's going to my brother to refinish and take to his house.  The random crap on top needs to be put away (tools, bag of clothes that belong to Momma) or thrown away (box).  And wtf is with my mom hanging wind chimes just randomly in the room?!  I have to find other pictures/things to hang on the wall.  I have hooks that need attention.

These pictures are all taken as I was laying on my bed.  This is the worst side of the room.  The far left pile of crap is all my moms.  I want to throw everything away.  Including the weird bird cage you see behind that pile of crap, on the wall.  However, I'm sure I'd throw away something important so  I will go through everything.  We have to find a place for the wheel chair.  The big pink chair is staying, mainly because that damn thing is too heavy to move.  The bookcase is full of crap.  Crap that doesn't belong to me!  I think it's stuff that my Momma bought for my nephew?  But I honestly have no idea and since it's not bothering anyone...it can stay.  On the bottom shelves there is a whole set of Time Life books.  OLD, Time Life books that my Momma purchased when I was a kid.  They can stay too.

The box is FULL of knickknacks.  Stupid turtles, elephants and frogs that covered the dresser.  Of course, these were mostly purchased by my brother and I, growing up, as gifts for my Momma. :)  The books?  I have no idea, but I knew they probably shouldn't be thrown away.  This crap needs to be taken next door and gone through, but I'm lazy..and since it's not hurting anyone?  It can stay.

My mom has a love for these tapestry type of things.  Ewww.  I hate them.  But, no way will I ever toss one out...she'd kill me.  This one has been given to the Beast.  I assume I'm stuck with it until my brother can find a place to hang it in my nephews room.  Hopefully, it won't be too much longer.  Maybe it can leave with the freakin' desk!

Finally... this one is hanging over the bed.

Blecccch!!  I'm hoping that this one can be hung next door in the room she's in now.  If not, it may suffer an unfortunate accident.  Maybe, it will accidentally fall?  As a result of falling, maybe it will rip into a hundred pieces?  We'll see.

Now.. don't you all feel a little less embarrassed about the conditions of your rooms?!  I know I would.

  1. Sadly, no. My room is so bad I won't take pictures. Your room is only slightly messy by comparison!

And ITA, the bird cage thing is creepy!
