Is it just boys?

What the heck is with my son.  I have, repeatedly, said to him "Close your drawers."  I look in his room the next morning and his drawers are open. 

I say to him "For every drawer that is open, that is 1 week that you're grounded!!"  That worked for about 1 week.. at that point he was up to an 8 week punishment.  He doesn't care.

I got to the point that each drawer I saw open, I dumped onto the floor.  He was then made to refold everything and put them back together.  Obviously....nothing has worked.

I walked into his room on Wednesday afternoon - this is what I find.

When I freak out and tell him I'm taking pictures to show everyone on my blog how his room resembles a pigsty.. this is his reaction...

He's so cute, that it's hard to stay mad at him.

He did pick up his floor, close the drawers, and put his laundry away.

Right this second, it's clean.... but I can't promise what it will look like in 5 minutes.
