O wow.

i danced last night.  it's been a long time since i've really danced.  in the beginning of july the boys and i played JD2 one evening.  i must not have really danced that night because i don't remember being sore.  today, i'm sore.  my back,  and especially my elbow are killing me really hurting today!  i attempted to stop the elbow pain by immediately applying ice afterward, but.. no luck.  i guess that's what i get for having to really dance in order to try to beat my high scores.  despite the pain, i'm very happy i danced!  it felt good to get moving again.  it was satisfying, sitting down and chugging my water afterward - a feeling of accomplishment.  although, because i overdid it yesterday (an hour and half) i'm much too sore to dance today.  i hope to be back up 'n dancing friday evening.  one step and a time.  one painful, slow step at a time.

i'm excited for JD3 to be released!  i may even purchase JD Summer Party too!!  of course, i need to do it on the DL so that i am able to set unbeatable high scores.  :)

the weather this week has been fanfreakintastic!  i know, i know.. i could do without the rain/mist for the last 3 days but all in all i'm so happy it's cooler.   i'm not sure if we've finally said good bye to the 80's just yet.. but i'm hopeful.  i was thiiiiiisssss close to buying some caramel apples yesterday.  instead i grabbed lettuce, plain apples and strawberries.  yeah... i'm slowly trying to get back on track with this weight loss crap.

very slowly.

tomorrow is another followup appointment with the surgeon.  i haven't talked much about the demon and how he's been doing.  probably because i haven't blogged very much lately... overall, he is doing great.  no pain. (unless he's hit directly in the stomach)  he still has some numbness along his tummy but his wound is healed.  he's basically able to eat whatever he wants with little to no side effects.  the big problem he's still experiencing is waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.  i have to keep reminding him he's just about 2 months out from surgery!  today marks 7 weeks.  he's gradually getting better.  it's almost trial and error when it comes to eating at night.  when should he stop eating?  what should be the last thing he eats?  should he take all 4 imodium at once before bed? or take 2 before and 2 after he wakes up that first time?  i hope that the surgeon can offer some more suggestions on what the demon can try to finally sleep through the night.  he's currently on the max dosage of imodium (4am/4pm) and still waking every night, at least once.

i'm exhausted... thank god tomorrow is friday.
