We finally made it to Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal.
It was cold and a winter storm was on the way.. but that did not stop us!
We had trains to see!
Our first stop was the Cincinnati History Museum
they really do like each other.
Now.. we could not go to the Cincinnati Museum without also learning some history.

relaxing on the street car
As I was taking this picture a wonderful man gave us a history lesson.
He was in total character and described a typical day in the life of a photographer.
I wish there were more real life history lessons throughout the museum.
The boys loved it.
After the Cincinnati Museum, we ventured to the Children's Museum.
I thought the boys may be too old for this stop...
They still wanted to dress up, play grocery and even delivered mail throughout the pretend village.
it took some doing, but they eventually fit!
They played with balls, climbed the tree, and raced down the slide.
Each trip to the Children's Museum I have tried to build the arch.
With the help of my brother, the four of us did it!
Okay,...we needed a chair too.
The boys pounded on played a few instruments...
.... and we were ready to go.
We made a last stop to the ice cream parlor and enjoyed a treat before leaving.
We beat the snow home and finished the night with a hot chocolate.
It was a great way to end the weekend!
