i was dreading heading to kings island on sunday. i was thinking it was going to be so miserably hot, but, i was happily surprised. the breeze was blowing on and off and it wasn't too bad.
each year i make a deal with the demon. he has to get on a ride that is "new" for him. this year as soon as we got to the park we walked straight toward firehawk. i was surprised that he was so willing to get on! this is the shot i got of him on the ride. it was also the first time the beast rode!
when they got off they both said their legs felt like "jell-o". haha! i'm proud of 'em. after tackling the new ride they went on some old favorites..
we laughed...and we ate.
and then we got a little wet!
no, really, he didn't pee his pants. lol!
after we cooled down a little bit the boys made their way to drop zone tower. as we waited i started noticing the ride was not going up. we then saw that the first aide truck was heading toward the ride. apparently a woman passed out and hurt herself. thankfully, she looked like she was going to be okay. however, they were not certain when the ride would reopen so the boys got out of line and we walked toward a show.
there was only one show we were interested in - Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic & Mayhem.
yes!!!!!! Max, from Saved By the Bell! it was very cute and i enjoyed the magic. i could've lived without the lame dancers and more magic but whatever. i wasn't able to get any good pictures during the show, but if you're at the park.. it's worth going in, cooling off, and seeing the show!
today i will leave you with one of the best, touristy pictures i've seen in a long time - at least when it comes to the expression on my brother's face...
