snow globe weirdness!

it all started when i posted a couple of very interesting snow globes on my facebook.

after i was corrected (at first i thought the top globe was jesus) my friends and i decided that this was intended to be a snow globe nativity.  how weird!?  maybe this sort of thing is common to those people that collect snow globes?  i know i'm not the only one that finds Joseph and Mary's heads surrounded by water...weird.

since then, the idea of posting more snow globes was brought up by a good friend of mine.  of course, i couldn't disappoint!  

let's just say this one will complete the nativity.  there has to be an angel included!

then.. i stumbled on - what i assume to be - nutcracker globes.  (i've never seen it)

they would be from the nutcracker, yes?    how is it that the mouse has fingers, yet Joseph, Mary and the little girl don't?!

the last of the snow globes were just random christmas goodness.

why does it look like the gingerbread man's head is SO much smaller than it's body!?

i do have to admit, the reindeer is cute!

having said that... the freakin' elf (i assume that's an elf?!) is CREEPY!

not far from the snow globes were a few nutcrackers....and not your normal nutcrackers.  

what the crap is that?!  it wasn't until editing this picture i noticed the fish net arm stocking on the right.  WTF!?  how could i have missed that one!  i had to find it..

who would buy these??

people obviously do buy these things because when i went back, weeks later, the shelves were not as full as before.  maybe they are gag gifts?  who knows, but they provided me with much needed entertainment this holiday season.
