yesterday evening the demon was sitting next to me playing around on his phone. out of nowhere he thought he needed to let me know that he had just finished reading my blog from yesterday and that i didn't talk about him enough! he informed me that there was "only one picture" of him and there should be more him on my blog. ha! you'd think that a 14 year old guy wouldn't want his mom talking too much about him in such a public way. not him.
i am so far behind in my picture taking and editing. i'm just now getting around to my easter pictures! the only shots i took were those of the boys as they were dying eggs.
apparently the beast has never dyed easter eggs? i'm not too sure about that, but that's what he said - and, by the total lack of experience he seemed to have i'd tend to agree. it was hilarious watching him try to figure out how to work the dipper thingie and to carefully transfer the egg to the drying rack without it rolling everywhere. on the other hand.. the demon is a pro!
while we're talking about eggs. what the heck does a person have to do to hard boil the perfect egg?? i have a real malfunction when it comes to doing this. i don't know which i hate more... hard boiling eggs or trying to figure out how to "do" the perfect thanksgiving turkey. one dozen of these eggs were edible.. the other? not so much.
while the boys were dying eggs... mao was being adorable.
now, being the normal 14 yr old boys that these two are.. the eggs were a mixture of pretty colors and various drawings of boobies and words such as "poop". i guess nothing says easter quite as much as poo? highly hilarious!
it was a great time filled with loads of laughter.
i hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
