he's an awful subject to shoot.

i try really hard to snap pictures of my pets.  it's probably because he is the laziest but mao is, by far, the easiest to capture.  i'd have to say truck is the worst.  it's almost as if he knows what's going to happen when i pull out my camera.  but, let's be real, anyone that knows truck knows he's a dum dum and he has no idea what's going on in the world around him - unless it has to do with food.

so, as i was saying, i pulled out the camera and this is the only useable shot...

if he's not turning or walking away from the camera he is trying to lick it!  i do like how the christmas tree is reflecting in his eye!  

at the start of a new year the talk of starting a 365 project is always floating around the interwebs.  while i know i would love to look back on my year in such a way, i know if i said i was going to participate,  i'd be setting myself up for failure.  i just know that my mind is forgetful and i would absolutely not take a picture every.day.  i can't even manage to snap a photoaday for my instagram challenge!  however, as i said in my goal list, i will be taking more photos.  i also really hope to, at the very least, post 1 picture on here a day.  some days it may just be reposting my instagram photo other days it will be different.   i'm sure that not all of them will be great quality, but it will be part of my life.  a life that is most definitely, not picture perfect.
