this is the current condition of my living room. yes, it's 11 pm and i have no intention of straightening up either. yes, it's the 8th and my christmas tree is still up. yes, it's nearly impossible to walk through the room... and.. i don't care! :)
tomorrow my friend's hubby is coming to start on my basement, so i'm kinda living in limbo. i'm certainly not complaining because i'm so excited to get this project started! i've been putting off organizing my basement because i knew everything would have to be moved away from the walls so that he could clean and paint them. the demon and i did a little clean out today and i was amazed at the amount of stuff i have left post flood.
if i wasn't so embarrassed by my mess down there i'd take before/after pictures - but - you'll have to be happy with pretty, organized, after pictures. :)
by the way, am i the only one that can't remember how things go back after taking down the decorations? i couldn't figure out why my mantle looked weird. i rearranged some more and, right now, it looks decent - but not the way it was pre christmas. wtf?! weeeird. it's like i'm missing pictures. i wonder if i look back through this blog if i can find a picture of it and figure out this mystery. i'm sure, i won't be able to sleep until i do.
i must go... i'm trying to catch up on my DVR reality trash TV so i can delete and make room for more!
